Dr. Ravindra M. Joshi

MD, DM (Medical Oncology & Haematology)

Dr. Ravindra M. Joshi is the founder and lead consultant at Dr. Joshi's Cancer Centre, Sangli. With over 35 years of dedicated experience in medical oncology and haematology, he is the only DM-qualified Haematologist-Oncologist in the Sangli district, making world-class cancer care accessible to patients across South Maharashtra. Dr. Joshi earned his MD followed by a DM in Haematology — a super-specialist postgraduate qualification — and has spent his entire career focused on bringing the latest systemic cancer therapies to patients who would otherwise have to travel to Pune or Mumbai. He personally oversees every chemotherapy protocol, immunotherapy plan, targeted therapy regimen and haematological treatment at the centre. Dr. Joshi is known for his meticulous approach to diagnosis, his commitment to evidence-based practice, and his ability to explain complex oncology concepts in a way that patients and families truly understand. He believes that informed patients are empowered patients — and that compassion is as important as clinical expertise.

Dr. Priyadarshan Chitale

MS (Surgical Oncology)

Dr. Priyadarshan Chitale is a qualified Surgical Oncologist associated with Dr. Joshi's Cancer Centre. Holding an MS in Surgical Oncology, Dr. Chitale brings essential expertise in the surgical management of solid tumours — including cancer resections, biopsies, port insertions and palliative surgical procedures. His collaboration with the medical oncology team ensures patients benefit from a well-coordinated, multidisciplinary approach to cancer care. Dr. Chitale's surgical precision and experience in oncological surgery make him an invaluable part of the cancer care panel at our centre.

Dr. Dinesh K. Badakh

MD, DMRE (Radiation Oncology)

Dr. Dinesh K. Badakh is a Radiation Oncologist with an MD and DMRE (Diploma in Medical Radiology & Electrology), specialising in the use of therapeutic radiation in cancer management. As part of the multidisciplinary panel at Dr. Joshi's Cancer Centre, Dr. Badakh ensures that patients requiring radiotherapy — whether for curative, adjuvant or palliative purposes — receive expert radiation planning and treatment. His involvement in the team means patients can access integrated radiation oncology advice without needing to seek a separate specialist opinion.

Dr. Vinod Paramshetti

MD (Internal Medicine)

Dr. Vinod Paramshetti is an MD Physician who forms an essential part of the supportive care team at Dr. Joshi's Cancer Centre. In oncology, patients frequently present with complex co-existing medical conditions — diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, respiratory illness — that require careful management alongside cancer treatment. Dr. Girish Kadkol

MD (Pathology)

Dr. Girish Kadkol is an MD Pathologist who plays a critical role in the cancer diagnostic pathway at Dr. Joshi's Cancer Centre. Accurate histopathological diagnosis is the very foundation of correct oncology treatment — and Dr. Kadkol's expertise ensures that tissue biopsies, bone marrow samples, cytology specimens and other pathological material are interpreted with the precision that cancer care demands. Dr. Sachin Kothavale

MD (Anaesthesiology)

Dr. Sachin Kothavale is an MD Anaesthesiologist associated with the surgical and procedural team at Dr. Joshi's Cancer Centre. Safe anaesthesia management is essential for cancer patients undergoing surgical procedures, bone marrow biopsies, port insertions and other interventional work — particularly in patients who may be medically compromised by their disease or treatment.
